In the construction industry, it is a tradition that our gypsum is applied as an interior coating on materials such as block, barblock, brick, thermal block, concrete, partition, drywall and polystyrene, among others.
It is fire retardant because, when exposed to heat, there is a gradual release of the crystallization water in the form of steam that delays temperature rise and absorbing the heat, without emitting toxic gases that are the main cause of fatal accidents in most of fires.
It has a low level of conductivity which allows it to act as a thermal insulator on construction sites.
It is a material that offers high safety when used: due to its characteristics it is neither combustible nor toxic. It is also odorless and does not require special care for its preparation or handling.
