Agriculture Industry

Our Agricultural Gypsum is a mineral compound of natural origin technically denominated as calcium sulfate dihydrate (CaSO4), which is widely recognized in the world for its versatility since it has the properties of soil amendment, conditioner and fertilizer in both intensive and extensive crops.

The agricultural gypsum produced by Yesera Monterrey offers, among others, the following advantages:

  • Increases the content of calcium and sulfur in soils.
  • Corrects the surface of the soil by eliminating the formation of crusts and the poor penetration of the water from irrigation or heavy rainfall.
  • Generates better balance between magnesium, potassium and micronutrients.
  • Decreases the toxicity of heavy metals in soils and plants.
  • Eliminates excess salts and sodium from the soil, generated by irrigation with poor quality water or by excess fertilizers.
